The goal of Law Day is to engage students while educating them about their legal rights and their civic responsibilities as citizens of the United States of America, while helping them to understand the importance of equal access to a system that is the basis of this great nation.
Students were invited to attend our virtual Law Day to learn first-hand what it is like to be a member of a jury while watching a Mock Trial put on by members of the Franklin County YLD.
We are pleased to announce that this year included a virtual Law Day Poster Contest. The posters were judged by members of the Young Lawyers Division of the Franklin County Bar Association and prizes were awarded for the posters which best illustrate this year’s theme of “Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change.”
