PBI Simulcast – This course is an introduction to the issues, concerns, and problems faced by individuals as they transition into what is referred to as “retirement age.”
There are two benefits, in particular, that are fairly universal to older Americans, and pretty foundational to an aging strategy – Social Security (retirement income) and Medicare (healthcare coverage). Having knowledge of both is important to older Americans, even if they haven’t actually retired.
Long term care is also critically important in aging considerations. Social Security and Medicare benefits will likely happen to most people (or at least be reckoned with) if they live long enough. Long term care – maybe/maybe not, but it’s so devastatingly expensive if it happens, that it needs to at least be considered in any aging strategy.
